Good Morning America Broadcasting Live From Acadia National Park

This morning Acadia National Park is the backdrop for 'Good Morning America.'

As apart of Good Morning America's viewer voting competition 'America’s Favorite Place' TV crews are on the island. Yesterday afternoon MDI residents and the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce where told TV crews are heading their way.

'America’s Favorite Place' has been collecting votes all summer. Viewers can vote for their favorite national park, Acadia National Park is a finalist. The winning park will be announced this morning during the show. Other finalists include Gulf Shore of Alabama, Chicago’s Lakefront, Glacier National Park in Montana and Lake Tahoe in Nevada and California.

The broadcast is open to the public. Good Morning America is broadcasting from the Jordan Pond House from 6:30-9AM.
