You’ve always heard me say that everything has and upside.  Turns out bad times are no exception according to scientists.

Their latest study suggests if you have gone through divorce or coped with the death of a loved one, you have a new perspective that allows you to enjoy the little things in everyday life in the long-run.

Not a small study, almost 15,000 participants were examined to see whether having a bad experience  in anyway effected their ability to enjoy the good times.

To their surprise not only did they still garner enjoyment from positive experiences but the  they actually found that they had a greater appreciation or good times and small pleasures more easily.

The research published in the Social Psychological and Personality Science journal, seems to agree with the old adage that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and now possibly happier.
