Governor Orders Flags At Half-Staff Immediately

Governor Paul LePage has order both that both the United States and State Of Maine flags be flown at half-staff immediately, out of respect for the shooting victims in Orlando.

In a release this morning, LePage said, "“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims who were killed or injured in this senseless and horrific attack. “Ann and I send our condolences and pray for the safety and recovery of all those affected by this unspeakable tragedy,"

Both flags are to be flown half-staff until this sunset, this Thursday, June 16th.
