Great Falls Balloon Festival This Weekend

The skies of Central Maine will be filled with hot air balloons this weekend.

The 21st annual Great Falls Balloon Festival kicks off today in Lewiston and Auburn. This years festival features 21 balloons that will launch at 6AM and 6PM today through Sunday. They will be tethered down throughout the day so folks can get an up close look.

The festival features live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, children's activities, belly dancers and more.

Great weather is expected this weekend for the festival. Each year 100,000 people attend the festival.
