Hazmat Incident at Fed Ex

Bangor Police closed the roads around Fed Ex this morning after a hazmat incident. Crews were called in to inspect a Fed Ex employee and the trailer he was working in.

An employee of Fed Ex was unloading a trailer this morning when he accidentally spilled some chemicals on himself. As is standard procedure, the building was evacuated and a Hazmat crew was called in. The roads in the Perry Road/Crosby Street area were closed briefly while the hazmat team worked.

No one was injured in the incident and the roads are back open.
