Heavy Traffic Expected on Interstate 95 this Weekend

The Maine Turnpike Authority is expecting a lot of cars on Interstate 95 this weekend. 890,000 vehicles are anticipated to bombard the Maine Turnpike over this weekend.

If the prediction is correct it would mark an increase of 5.2% from Memorial Day weekend last year.

Memorial Day weekend traditionally marks the start of summer tourist season in Maine.
