The Bangor Police Department is hot on the trail of a purse snatcher!  According to the Bangor PD’s Facebook page, The Special Enforcement Team has been investigating a “rash of purse thefts”  during the past couple of months.  They’re asking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest.

Anyone with info can call either Officer Brian Smith or Joe Baillargeon at 947-7382, extension 5801, or press 6 if you wish to remain anonymous by utilizing their Tip Line.

Keep an eye on your belongings while shopping anywhere.  Purse snatching usually happens within seconds.
