Here’s Where Maine Veterans Can Eat For Free This Friday
This Friday is Veteran's Day, and as a thank you to those that have served, vets will get to eat for free at a variety of different places!
Remember to bring along your military ID, and enjoy some free grub, here's what we know so far:
At the Ellsworth Elks Lodge on Route 3, there will be free meals for veterans all day, with breakfast being served between 6 and 9am, lunch from 11am-2pm and dinner 4-7pm.
The Bangor Rotary Club of Bangor and Bangor Savings Bank will sponsor the annual Veteran’s Day Pancake Breakfast at the Brewer Auditorium between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Veterans eat for free, otherwise the cost is $7 per adult and $4 per children.
Auxiliary to Northport Memorial VFW Post 6131 will host a Veterans Day Dinner at the Post Home, 780 Atlantic Highway, in Northport on Sunday, the 13th. Free to all vets.
At Dennys, vets can enjoy a free build-your-own Grand Slam Breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon!
Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse will pass out free lunches to vets taken from a special menu.
Tim Hortons have a free donut for vets!
Vets and active military will get to choose from seven free different items on Applebee's menu.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is offering a buy-one-get-one free discount good for a small burrito, bowl or salad from 3 p.m. until close.
Longhorn Steakhouse offers up a free appetizer or dessert, along with a 10% to any group dining with a veteran.
