There are many artists like Springsteen and Mellencamp that won’t let their songs be used commercially.  However tonight’s featured artists don’t seem to mind at all in fact one of their songs was used in the movie Caddyshack, at the end of Charlie's Angles 2: Full Throttle and recently in a commercial from State Farm insurance.  Think you know the song or the band??

If you guessed the band is Journey, so far so good…the son was “Anyway You Want It’ in the movie Caddyshack. Rodney Dangerfield dances to it using the sound system in his golf bag, at the end of Charlie's Angles 2: Full Throttle during a blooper reel with credits and  most recently a State Farm insurance commercial in both spoken word and musical form. The ad starts with a 'little journey moment' as a State Farm rep tells his customer, "we're here, anytime, anywhere, any way you want it," to which his client replies, "that's the way I need it." Prompted by the quoting of the song's lyrics, the client shares his experience of seeing a Journey gig before the music kicks in at the end.

Did you ever see the commercial?
