Tonight’s featured says that he enjoys playing smaller venues more as a single artist because when he was younger that was how he saw his favorite artists play and got to know them Want to guess who he is?

That would be Peter Wolf of J Geils Band. Back in 2013 Peter told WXBR/Boston that small venues have a different personality from arenas which are also fun to play. However, because he grew up seeing acts like Bob Dylan and Muddy Waters in small places with just a few hundred other people playing that size club brings back those great memories.
