Tonight’s featured artist says it takes a lot of faith to write music. It is that belief that makes you keep digging when you think you might have something that is good. Any guesses who learned early on to keep the faith?

That would be Steve Miller, who in the early years couldn’t seem to get any of his songs played on mainstream FM radio. That is until The Joker finally paid him a royalty check that made him decide to get a recorder for his living room and give himself a year off a day job to write his music. And the rest is Rock n’ Roll history.
