Tonight’s features artists have been described as by some as the inventors of Heavy Metal Music. Think you know who it is?

In an interview with The Telegraph it is Black Sabbath, with Ozzy Osborne in the lead, they say at the turn of the 1970s forged a powerful, simplified version of ‘prog rock’ and in the process invented heavy metal.

Amazingly enough Black Sabbath is still relevant and hot today. Proved back in 2013 when they delivered their first album in 35 years with Osbourne aboard, called “13” which became number one in 50 countries.

When interviewed about the success Ozzy claimed: “I knew it was a f***ing good album but when somebody just told me it’s gone top in fifty countries — I didn’t know there were fifty countries, and I’m number one in all of them! I’m just devastated.”
