It's March Bandness and tonight we're pitting Aerosmith against Steve Miller Band, So who is who? Both bands have leaders that started their love of music very early in life. One has a member who was inspired to be a musician while lying under his father’s piano at the age of 3 and listening to him play, while the other started playing guitar himself at 5 years old and by the age of 12 had started his first band. Think you know which Steven Tyler is and which is Steve Miler?  Guesses??

Let’s start with the little boy under the piano.  That was Steven Tyler who said in an interview at the Shaboo Inn that at the tender age of three he would lay beneath his dad's piano old listening to him play classical music. His father was a Julliard-trained musician. He also added "That's where I got that ‘Dream On’ chordage," Making Steve Milller our budding band leader at the age of twelve.  By thirteen he had quit school to be a musician. Miller tells in an interview before the Byron Bay Bluesfest 2013 that because Les Paul was his godfather, from an early age he was jamming with one of the best guitar players who lived. According to Miller Les Paul played until he was 93 and he hopes to do the same.

Who will take the day and go on to the March Bandness round two?
