I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artists has a saxophonist play on one of their bestselling singles who then cover the song he had played on that was then featured in a Madonna film.  Think you know who the band is or what the song might be??

We’ll start with our mystery artists, that would be Foreigner. The song in question was their bestselling single from the album 'Urgent' which by no coincidence was 'Urgent'.  So where does the movie come in? While creating the album the group had changed producers and hired ‘Mutt” Lange, best known at the time as producer for AC/DC. On the title track a saxophone solo was performed by Motown great Junior Walker. After the success of the Foreigner single Walker recorded his own version for the 1983 All Stars album Blow the House Down.Walker's version was featured in the 1985 film “Desperately Seeking Susan” starring Madonna.
