I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artists have a hit song that plays like a commercial for gun control saying basically that a gun isn’t good for anything but putting a guy 6 feet under.   Think you know the band or song??

Well the band is Lynyrd Skynyrn who are no strangers to gun having one band member have a real run in with an armed guy over a girl prompting him to write on of my favorite songs 'Gimme Three Steps'. Tonight’s Skynyrd song however is a little more to the point, the song is ‘Saturday Night Special’ whose lyrics refer to the cheap handguns popularly called Saturday Night Specials. It's lyrics associates these guns with impulsive violence; the following examples being given: a man being shot by a home intruder or shooting a cheating man in bed with his wife, a poker gambler shooting his gambling partner between the eyes during a losing night, and accidentally shooting oneself while intoxicated. Notably, it argues that they "ain't good for nothin' / 'Cept for puttin' a man six feet in a hole."
