Tonight mystery artists met as students at the Rhode Island School of Design where the band was called the Artistics. Think you know who they are now??

After performing in R.I. as the Artistics the band dissolved and the band founders David Byrne, Chris Frantz with girlfriend and Tina Weymouth moved to New York. Once there the guys convinced Tina to learn how to play the base guitar and the three became the Talking Heads. In a later interview, Weymouth recalled how the group chose the name Talking Heads: "A friend had found the name in the TV Guide, which explained the term used by TV studios to describe a head-and-shoulder shot of a person talking as 'all content, no action.' It fit."
