Tonight's mystery artists said the only other band he’d ever back up was Bob Dylan which he was doing at the time of the interview. He said it was like a working vacation because he didn’t have to sing all night. Any guess who he might be??

It was in March of 1986 that Futstal Record’s Steve Harris gained this confession from Tom Petty while he was playing with Dylan in Tokyo. Petty went on to say working with Dylan was less pressure but even though he was enjoying it he had too much to do to continue to back other artists. The only other person he could imagine doing it for if he were he alive was Elvis.
