Tonight’s mystery artist co-wrote a song with a member of The Eagles that would become one of The Eagles biggest hits. Think you know the song or who our co-writer artist might be??

The song The Eagles took to the top of the charts was ‘Take It Easy’ and our collaborator was Jackson Browne who started the song but was helped to finish it by his then roommate Glen Frey. To that fact, Rolling Stone reported today that Eagles co-founder Bernie Leadon and Jackson Browne will join members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit for a 2016 Grammy tribute honoring Glenn Frey, who passed away on January 18th  at age 67. Billboard speculates it's likely the performance will include "Take It Easy," the band's seminal 1972 folk-rock anthem. The Grammys are set to air February 15th at 8pm on CBS.

Forgive the shaky video and watch Browne at an earlier performance in January in Florida when he dedicated a solo version of ‘Take It Easy” to Glen, reminiscing about the pair's early days as roommates in Los Angeles. "I wrote this song with Glenn Frey," he said from the stage. "It's a song that I started, but I didn't finish it. Even if I had finished it by myself, it wouldn't be the song that it is and it wouldn't be the song that we all love."
