Tonight’s mystery artist although travels with one band most of the time he had played with the likes of Peter Frampton, Brian Wilson, Bonnie Raitt, Wayne Newton and Tom Jones. Any guess who he might travel with most of the time or who he be??

Let's start with where he has been for the most years, that would be playing with Steve Miller mostly on guitar but sometimes on bass. His name is Kenny Lee Lewis (No relation to Jerry)

According to the Washington Times Kenny joined Steve back in 1982 when he was a studio musician and Steve was looking for some new music for a new album 'Abracadabra;. Kenny sent him eight demos and Steve loved them all. Kenny and Steve wound up co-writing and co-producing the entire album and then went on tour for 34 years.

Billed by the times as the ultimate sideman he has played for an impressive group including:

  • Paul McCartney
  • Ringo Starr
  • Milton Berle
  • Wayne Newton
  • Eddie Money
  • Travis Tritt
  • Lance Armstrong
  • Tom Jones
  • Peter Frampton
  • Brian Wilson
  • Bonnie Raitt
  • Donny Osmond
