Tonight’s mystery artists although very successful have been panned by music critics for years and snubbed by Rolling Stone Magazine and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Think you can guess who they might be??

In 2014 they finally did get some recognition from their peers when the Song Writer Hall of Fame inducted Mick Jones and Lou Gramm of Foreigner. Radio.com talked with Mick about why he thinks they have been overlooked by the industry despite the multiple platinum albums. Mick blamed closet fans saying,

“It used to bother me a bit.Gradually, I found out that some of our detractors were closet fans.”  One of the more surprising examples can be seen, according to Jones, in perhaps the most famously curmudgeon rock critic of them all, Lester Bangs. “He ripped us to pieces in the press, and I found out that he had these parties at his house on weekends, where he would play air-guitar, and he always played at least two Foreigner songs,” Jones claims. “He had air-guitar movements to both of them!”

Well we love them and here is tonight’s featured song.
