I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight's mystery artist at one point in his career had a heart attack. When asked what his symptoms were he said, no chest pain but both of his arms hurt and he was grouchier than normal. Any guesses who our normally grouchy guy might be??

This story was told to David Letterman in April of 2015 by a smoking John Mellencamp. Seriously, I didn’t even think you could smoke on network television, but there he was. He says he was on tour and hadn’t felt well so when he went home to Indiana "where they have real doctors" he was told he had experienced a heart attack that even a first year med student could recognize. He was put on a statin medication and no doubt was told to stop smoking…so one out of two ain’t bad. When asked why he was still smoking John said he only good at a few things and smoking is one of them.
