Tonight's mystery artist was hell on wheels back in the day.  However, he was not a car racer but a roller skating champion.  Any guess who he might be??

This particular bit of info comes from gonnahitcharide.com about the current bass player for the Band Boston Tracy Ferrie . Before touring with Boston Tracy played bass for the Christian Metal band Stryper.  Hailing from Elkhart, Indiana, the "Band instrument capitol of the world," it was almost inevitable that Tracy Ferrie's life would be intrinsically woven with music. Like Tom Scholz, Ferrie's introduction to music came from listening to his dad's stacks of classical albums, which laid the ground for Tracy's forthcoming musical journey. The son of roller-rink owners, he donned skates for the first time before he was two, and went on to become a national champion skating to the classical masterpieces that he grew up with. "Symphonic music was the soundtrack to my life," remembers Tracy. Wikipedia also notes: Tracy also graduated from the Berklee College of Music alumni and a prominent session bass player. He participated on stage in the Boston Strong Benefit along with Aerosmith, J. Geils, Jimmy Buffet, Carol King and James Taylor.

Because if you're like me you said what the heck a roller skating championship about??
