Tonight’s mystery artist says in after working a festival in Rio, Brazil she hitchhiked like, in her words, a typical beatnik through Northern Brazil. Any guess who our free spirit might be??

Kind of amazing because at that point our artist tonight was quite a star. It was in an interview with Dick Cavett that Janis Joplin told of how she hitchhiked through Brazil. Always unassuming and a bohemian rocker you gotta love her raw natural way.
