Tonight’s mystery artists have a hit song that is said to contain one of rock’s most memorable talk-box street fights. Think you know who the fighters might be or the band??

Long before Peter Frampton brought the talk-box to the forefront of popular music the Eagles had integrated it onto several of their songs. One of the most memorable according to Ultimate Classic Rock’s ‘Countdown of the Best Don Felder Songs’ was the mano y mano or in this case lipo y lipo contained in Eagles hit ‘Those Shoes’ the article reads:

The musical relationship between Don Felder and Joe Walsh, as both foils and friends, helped define the group’s sound in the late-’70s. Together, they give this Henley-sung track a steely menace.
