Tonight’s mystery artist loved his cats so much while on tour he’d call them from the road. Think you know who our crazy cat person is or the band he played with??

This story comes from the Clash Music site in an article called ‘10 things you didn’t know about Freddie Mercury’.  The story tells:

"Mercury loved his cats, so much so that while on tour he would periodically call home to talk to them. His one-time girlfriend and long-time close friend Mary Austin would hold the cats up to the phone so they could listen to him speak. He also had portraits painted of them."
