I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist has a song that has been done in at least 43 different versions and who also instead of answering fan mail used to give them a call. Think you can guess who is that creative and congenial??

The original song is called ‘Roadrunner’ by Jonathon Richmond who was from Boston. However, being from New York when Joan Jett and the Blackhearts performed the song she changed the lyrics to New York. She tells how after New York beat Boston in the World Series he didn’t like the change. Knowing that, she did a Boston version and after that she started making a personalized version for each city they performed in. She also told David Letterman that she, at least used to, call some of her fans in reply to their letters. After that they tried to call one of her fans Dwayne the Wild Man but apparently Dwayne lost his nerve. Don’t believe me watch the video.
