I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist and world renowned guitar player played guitar on Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ and didn’t take any money for it. He even rearranged the song for him and to top it all off Michael’s song beat out our guitar players group for the number position on the charts. Any Guess who the artist might be ??

I’ll give you a hint with what was number 2 on the billboards behind Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ that would have been Van Halen’s ‘Jump’.  And that makes our philanthropic guitar player Eddie Van Halen. In an interview with Piers Morgan Eddie admitted that the band had a no work outside the band policy but everybody was out of town and there was no one to ask…so he did it. Not only did ‘Beat it” beat ‘Jump’ on the singles charts but also on the album charts.  Eddie says to this day the band still blames him for ‘Jump’ never making it to number 1.
