Tonight’s mystery artist has two odd claims to fame. One he is an ordained minister and two one of his band’s most recent albums contains a song derived from a rap tune.  Any guesses who the reverend is or the band he plays with??

I found these facts on a site called Classic Rock Revisited. The writer talks about the honest beginnings of the nickname Reverend Willy G. That he uses when he is playing the blues which belongs to Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top.  Classic Rock Revisited interviewer Jeb wrote about Billy’s nickname:

Jeb: I guess it is not just a nickname either, as the man is an ordained Reverend. I wish I would have known that when I got married as I would have paid top dollar to have him perform our nuptials.
