Tonight’s mystery artist was 6 credits from receiving a degree in literature when he chucked it all and moved to Chicago to play the blues. Can you guess who he is or his band??

According to the site Fraze, it was Steve Miller who had attended the University of Wisconsin only to quit just short of his degree. Seems Miller had always been about the music as he started his first band “The Marksmen “ at the tender age of 12.  Also the lack of a degree did not stop his music career or his academic career.  In 2010 he was asked to teach a class at the USC Thorton School of Music.
