Tonight’s mystery artist in an interview after begin inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame that an important part of writing and performing is to speak to everyone, not just men or women but try to turn everyone on.  Any guess who this Hall of Famer might be??

It was last April in Cleveland that Joan Jett after her induction into the hall of fame with the Black Hearts talked about being a woman in Rock and Roll and how after many years of receiving flak for being a rock and roll woman finally felt accepted when she saw everyone stand and applaud her induction.  Later she added to that it was her intent with her music to, as she put it, turn everyone on.

Tonight’s featured song ‘I Love rock N’ Roll’ was a cover she did of the band’ Arrows’ original song  and was the title track to her first album with the Black I Love Rock 'n Roll which was Jett's most successful album to date with over 10 million copies sold, largely due to the success of the title track.
