Tonight’s mystery artists once appeared on the tonight show prompting Johnny Carson and Doc Severinsen to dress up like the band. Think you know who they were dressed as??

Found this fun moment on Wikipedia about the Tonight Show back in 1986 when ZZ Top was Johnny’s musical guest. Story goes that for the event Doc Severinsen ‘s band backed the group so he donned a ZZ Top style beard as did Johnny along who matched up his long beard with the hat and sunglasses.
