Born into humble beginnings in a working class family in Scotland Gerry Rafferty struggled with his fame as hits like ‘Stuck In The Middle With You’ and ‘Bakers Street’ pushed him onto the limelight.  In a 4 part documentary about his life and career both he and his family agree while most artists of his time fell into the lure of spotlight and excess. Gerry shunned all self-promotion even to the point of refusing to do live shows in the USA to push his records much to the record company’s dismay.
