I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist’s claim that one of their biggest hit was inspired from a popular song associated with a cartoon.  Any guess what the song is or who capitalized on the idea??

Tonight we'll start with the impressionable youth that was Def Leppard's Joe Elliot. Craig Allen's fun page tells us that the very first record Joe ever purchased was the Archie's Sugar Sugar.

According to Joe when he writes music anything that he has come in contact with may seep into the lyrics.  So it was with his first record from the popular 1969 cartoon which according to Joe spawned the Def Leppard hit Pour Some Sugar On Me. Obviously he was no Jughead.
