Tonight’s mystery artists have a hit song with a human moral that it can be unhealthy to be too competitive. Think you know what the song is or who wrote it??

Well the song was written by a guy who graduated from MIT only to find out he had absolutely no interest in climbing the corporate ladder at all. In fact the prospect of having to continue to try was stealing his ‘Peace of Mind’. Yup, it was during his time working for Polaroid Corp that Tom Sholz came to this realization and wrote the song ‘Peace of Mind’ .

The reference found in Wikipedia adds:

According to music journalist Chuck Eddy, the lyrics argue that it is unhealthy for people to compete with each other.  AXS contributor Craig James describes the theme as being that it is better to make music and being at peace with yourself is better than corporate aspirations.

Here is tonight's featured song.
