Tonight’s mystery artist used one of his grandpa Shorty’s songs on his bands album and even let him play on the song.  Any guess whose grandpa Shorty’s sonny boy might be??

Turns out, our fan of nepotism is the frontman of the band Blackfoot, Ricky Medlock.  The band has had a few hits over the years getting into the Top 100 including  "Train, Train"  which made it to is a #38. The  song was written by Ricky’s grandfather Shorty Medlocke and was included on their 1979 album ‘Strikes’. Blackfoot Medlock 's grandfather, Shorty plays the introduction, featuring sound effects of a train's wheels and whistle, done with on his harmonica.
