Tonight’s mystery artist had one hit that was so simple one band member when they first heard it said it was too boring.

I found this quote on BuzzFeed about the Fleetwood Mac song ‘Dreams’ which is one of the band’s biggest hits. And our ho hum band member was Christie McVie who said:

"'When Stevie first played it for me on the piano, it was just three chords and one note in the left hand. I thought, 'This is really boring.'

She goes on to credit Lindsey Buckingham’s genius that made the song sound interesting and cohesive.
