I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery  said that although it is nice to have songs and album is nice but when someone thanked him for being the soundtrack of his life, he called it a wonderful feeling and all that an artist could ask. Think you know who this appreciative musician might be??

I found the quote on the CBC radio site from their interview with Tom Petty. During the interview he expressed how the tour last year would be his last and his longing to spend more time with his grand daughters.  Unfortunately we all know that wasn’t to be the way of things and yet for his music his legacy felt like an accomplishment he enjoyed.  In the full quote he said:

"As you're coming up, you're recognized song for song or album for album. What's changed these days is that the man who approaches me on the street is more or less thanking me for a body of work — the soundtrack to his life, as a lot of them say. And that's a wonderful feeling. It's all an artist can ask."
