Tonight’s mystery artists had a huge hit with a song based on the sexual exploits at a Canadian hippie commune.  Can you guess the artist or the song??

I found this wild and crazy detail in a Rolling Stone article about the biography ‘Kicking & Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul and Rock & Roll’ published with Harper Collins back in 2012 The book covers the life and times of Heart’s Ann And Nancy Wilson. In the book Ann tells how "Crazy On You" was inspired by her first serious romance, with eventual manager Michael Fischer. The two love birds shacked up in a hippie commune in Canada. Wilson writes of the lyrics

"They were straight out of the scenes of wild sexuality that went on in the cottage"

Ann goes on to tell of how the experience also awoke her feminism and empowered her through music.

And here is tonight's featured song.
