In recent new Pink Floyd music had been used for a ballet performance odd as that seems back in 2013 tonight's mystery artist not only provided the music for a ballet but was on stage with the dancers.  Think you know who this might be??

This story was told to a DC radio station via Ultimate Classic Rock by Peter Frampton. And although he’d look good as anyone in tights he was not on stage to do that. According to Peter his prep and participation was like this,

"Right now I am writing brand new material and next April (2014) I'm playing three, hopefully four shows with the Cincinnati Ballet. The band will be onstage behind the dancers and we're going to do some old music that they're choreographing right now, but I'm writing 20 minutes of brand new music that will be featured and premiered onstage with a ballet."

The CD that supports this effort is called "Hummingbird in a Box". Here's Pete with tonight's featured song.

Interesting interview with Peter on how he got into ballet, his musical influences and the effects of being a teen idol. Surprising to hear him say his looks kind of undermined or over powered his musical talent.
