I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist’s lead singer missed one of his band’s first big shows opening for Alice Cooper.  Can you guess who they were of why he didn’t participate?

The date was October 23^rd 1983 the place was the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara California. The band opening for Alice was a then little known Guns N’ Roses and it was a big deal for them no doubt.  Unfortunately according to Louder Sound the band was forced to perform without Axl because unfortunately somehow his name had been left OFF the artists list for the venue. No listy, no entry. Can’t think how that’d worked myself but they did it and went on to become famous so I guess they worked it out.
