Tonight’s mystery artist told an interviewer back in 1968 that he wrote one of his best known songs just to be loud. Can you imagine what the song is or who wrote it??

The interview was with Radio Luxenbourg with Paul McCartney after the release or the White Album. Sir Paul talks about many of the songs on the album and how different it was from Sgt Pepper. The song he claims that is did to be loud was ‘Helter Skelter’ he had read an interview about another band that supposedly was loud and wild but when he listerned to it he didn't think it was loud at all so he decided to write 'Helter Skelter 'because he likes loud noise.  Another of the more interesting things Paul tell of his writing skills is that many of his songs he created by singing to his dog.
