I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artists boast almost 100 different members over the years with many names that sound like they came out of a novel. Do you have any idea of the band’s name or some of the members??

This info originates from the AXS site about a band whose ‘Best Of’ CD reached diamond status selling over 10 million copies.  Based in California it is none other than the Doobie Brothers. The site tells of their almost 100 members over the years with some very peculiar names. Probably the best know is their guitarist ‘Skunk’ Baxter who also happens to be an expert in missile defense. Some of the other member who have names that sound as if JK Rowling made them up are:

• Willie Weeks
• Cornelius Bumpus
• Chet McCracken
•  Skylark

The bands current members are, Co-founders Patrick Simmons & Tom Johnston with long time member John McFee, plus Bill Payne, Ed Toth and John Cowan. The Doobies are currently out on tour and will be in Mansfield MA on July 7^th and Gilford NH on July 13^th.
