Tonight’s mystery artist along with touring with the band we know him best for on I95 has also contributed to several movie soundtracks including ‘Footloose’  and ‘Top Gun’ knowing that do you think you know who it is??

Well you may have even seen him in person last year at Bass Park during the first N.E. Ribfest because it’s Mike Reno and Loverboy.

I was reading on their web page and then remembered Mike performing the duet with Ann Wilson of Heart, “Almost Paradise”, for the movie Footloose back in 1984. Then a few years later in 1986 for the movie, ‘Top Gun’ was the song “Heaven in Your Eyes” with the band. Some film gigs I did not know about were when Reno contributed the song “Chasing the Angels” for the soundtrack to Iron Eagle II which I’ve never seen in 1988 and the song “Whenever There’s a Night” for the movie Dream a Little Dream in 1989. Cool.  Having personally met him I can tell you too he is a really nice guy.

Here he is with tonight's featured song.
