Tonight’s mystery artist broke his neck in a car accident and contracted hepatitis but turned it into a positive thing.  Can you guess who that was or what he did to turn it around??

In the early 70's according to allmusic Steve Miller was struggling with subpar albums when he was in a car accident. Now you would think that breaking you neck and developing hepatitis would finish his career, and it did put him out of commission for a whole year. But it was far from the end.  During his convalescence Steve decided to reinvent himself and reinvigorate his roots in blues into his pop persona. The result was short, catchy and clever songs like ‘The Joker’ and the like named album  that put him back on the charts and back on track to where he is today.
