Tonight’s mystery artists told Rolling Stone that they really like playing smaller corporate functions over big stadiums.  Think you know who these intimate chaps might be??

According to Cheap Trick playing corporate gigs is lucrative and way more fun. Bassist Tom Petersson remarked to the magazine that bands who don’t like playing anything but stadiums are missing the boat. He went on to say that private gigs never bothered the band because you get to meet the people and they are so please to meet you. They tell you stories of how your music was a part of their lives. He adds that they were also very well paid for their efforts or the lack there of:

“One time we did a series of club shows organized by some corporation where you could win tickets. It wound up that there was often nobody there, which was kind of fun, like playing someone’s living room. We got to walk around and talk to everyone.”

Here they are with tonight's featured song.
