I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s featured artist wrote a song that sounds like he was a real ladies man but he says that he’d never be as forward as the song.  Can you guess the song or artist??

We’ll start with the, hey baby how you doin’ song.  You may have guessed its Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Foxey Lady’. Funny though, according to Hendrix biographer Harry Shapiro, Jimi commented that he did not approach women in such a straightforward manner as the lyrics suggested. Also in the biography is the speculation of who the Foxey lady may have been, some say Heather Taylor, who later married Roger Daltrey while other think Lithofayne "Faye" Pridgon, Hendrix's girlfriend in the mid 1960's inspired the song.
