Tonight’s mystery artist had one fan describe the audience at their shows as pop-punk mutts who had their first taste of rebellion by arguing with their parents who’d be picking them up in an hour. Can you think who would draw this kind of group??

This was an interesting observation/judgement on the concert attendees for a Green Day concert. Written up by David Tracy he follows the lament of many Green Day fans that did not seem to appreciate them evolving into more popular music. David says he remains a fan to this day and so he should. Low to the fan who can’t understand that the ultimate reward for music is success with whoever will give it to you. I am pretty sure also that over the years the same thing has been said about the Beatles and the Stones at one time or another.

Here they are with tonight's featured song.

Here is what their audience looks like today.
