Tonight’s mystery artists made tore the tendons in the back of his knee trying to get in shape for the band's up coming tour by jumping on a trampoline. Any guess who that might be??

It was in a 1997 interview with Tom Snyder that Tom Petty told of the injury. During the interview Tom said that he needs to get in shape but is too lazy to jog so he was jumping on the trampoline. When asked why it is so important to be in shape, Tom replied running back and forth on a large stage is quite a jaunt. There is a lot of running around and jumping.  He says you get excited and you want to have fun. But Tom says the worst part is that after you’re amped yourself up during a concert it is hard to go back to the hotel room and face that quiet.

Tonight's featured song is one of my favorite Tom Petty hits, 'Runnin' Down A Dream'
