I guess if there is an upside to having to work until you die, like I probably will, appears that once you bridge a certain age you are more likely to be satisfied with your work.

A new survey by AP-NORC found it is more common to note the positive impact of their age in 9 out of 10 workers who are age 50 or older saying that they are very or somewhat satisfied with their job significant versus only a few older workers reporting unwelcome comments at work about their age, being passed over for raises and promotions, and other negative incidents related to being older.

Also satisfaction with age seems to come regardless of gender, race, educational level, political ideology and income level.

Other positive comments in the survey were that colleagues turned to them for advice more often and almost half surveyed said they felt they received more respect from their coworkers and employers.
