A ghost hunting group from Bangor called the East Coast Ghost Trackers went lights out at The Dream Catcher Antiques and Collectibles in Ellsworth on Saturday. This one one of the first times trying out a new piece of equipment that will allow the public to come on hunts with the team live in virtual reality. This means you can see things as they happen while being able to investigate on your own with virtual reality goggles! See a test investigation here with a 360 degree view.

The Dream Catcher Antiques and Collectibles is located at 107 Main St. in one of Ellsworth's many historic buildings. This building was once the funeral home with embalming tables and casket shoots still viable. It was also a furniture store well remembered by locals as the only place in Ellsworth to have an elevator at the time.

Today it is 3 floors full of more than 70 vendor booths with everything from collectible dolls to unique rocks and more. You see in the video the ghost hunters seem to be fighting the urge to do some shopping. Above is a video that was streamed live on their Facebook during the hunt.

Is it just me or do antiques get super creepy in the dark...? Follow them on Facebook for more live and local investigations.
